Another Major Post Coming!

I have currently started work on another major post. The one on Parsifal took me months of writing and revision. This one will be just as epic.

Yes, it will also be about Richard Wagner and his posthumous reception by German history. While Wagner is not the main subject of the study, it will nonetheless be a revelation. You won't find this line of argument in published textbooks, although the essential information that makes up the factual content of my argument is already published and out in the public sphere e.g. from Sir Ian Kershaw.

Just to peak your curiosity, the post started as a study of Viktor Ullmann, the composer of The Kaiser from Atlantis. You might ask what that has to do with Wagner. All will be revealed soon.

Unfortunately, I have had to order biographies of Viktor Ullmann from German Amazon so that I could include supportive bibliographic material. I will have to receive them, read them, and then rewrite my text. It's going to take time, but I can reassure you it will be worth the wait.
